Dear Neighbor,
I am writing to ask you to
support my good friend, Dr. Bob Hughlett, for
election to the Cerritos College Board of
Trustees.
I have known Bob for over 30
years and worked with him in his capacities as
an ABC School Board member and Cerritos City
Councilman. He has always been a fair,
knowledgeable and trustworthy advocate who opens
doors for all of those he represents.
After working as a teacher at
Rancho Los Amigos Hospital in the Downey Unified
School District for three years, Bob moved to
Cerritos College in 1973 until his retirement in
July. During his years at the college his many
roles included that of faculty member, Director
of Disabled Student Programs and Interim Vice
President of Student Services.
Since 1987 Bob was twice
elected to four year terms on the Board of
Education for the ABC Unified School District
and has most recently served on the Cerritos
City Council for two terms. He was the President
of ABCUSD Board and was twice Mayor of Cerritos.
Bob Hughlett is a class act
with impeccable integrity who is fully prepared
for leadership – please join me and vote for Bob
Hughlett for the Cerritos College Board of
Trustees on November 8.
